The LI Woodturners Asscociation and LI Woodworkers Club donated 29 Beads of Courage boxes to the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at NY Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital.
The next club meeting is Saturday December 21st. This will be our holiday party and John Kowalchuk will turn a dizzy bowl. Also, we will have election of officers, board members and committee appointments. Help is needed to set up at 8am and clean up at 12pm.
I would like to welcome you to the website for the Long Island Woodturner’s Association. We are a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) for more than 25 years! We meet one Saturday morning each month at the cafeteria in the main building of Old Bethpage Restoration Village.
Meetings begin at 9 a.m.
Old Bethpage Restoration Village is part of Nassau County Parks and Recreation system and is located at:
1303 Round Swamp Road

Our meeting will be held in the cafeteria of the Main Building (NOT the big barn).
Our meetings usually consist of a woodturning demonstration by a club member or professional turner, followed by Show and Tell
If you are a woodturner, or would like to become one, I would like to invite you to our meetings. Please check our meeting schedule page for dates and topic.
Thanks and I hope to see you at the club!
